I purchased a brand new vehicle from VW. My radio started glitching and not allowing me to connect wirelessly for car play. It would also say the infortainment system is unavailable I brought it in with pictures that I had taken of error messages. I wasted an entire day from work while they continued to say it was iPhone that is the problem. I waited 2 hours for Bobby Whitaker to show up. His first response was his wife’s iPhone has the same problem when trying to use car play in VW. I politely let him know I wasn’t interested hearing about his wife I want a resolution to my radio that is 10 month old no longer connecting to my phone. I insisted that I try to connect to another vehicle and it worked immediately. Finally he said he could open ticket to see if there is a known issue. This was Wednesday 1/29. On Thursday 1/30 at 1:01pm he called and said that VW is aware of the issue with connecting to IPhone and there is no eta on when it will be fixed but once they get a resolution. I can bring the vehicle back and get a loner while it’s being repaired. I have purchased multiple new cars and I have never had one be back in the shop in 10 months and everyone blaming me instead of seeing their is an issue that needs to be covered
