Our vehicle had to be towed there (we bought it there bit always used Brown's as they are personable and know our vehicles inside out). Never had to have a VW towed before and we have had many VW's. To get to service we got bounced around a bunch, rather than straight up to service. We called to let them know it was coming, and almost everyone you interact with seems unhappy you are on the phone with them. They didn't call when it arrived, we had to, they forced us to buy a part before they test the other features (all electronic) which would have been easy because it would have saved time and effort if there were other issues. We asked for a loaned (my dealership always give us one), they said our car was out of warranty and wasn't scheduled. I had an issue with my car and my dealership literally grabbed a new one of the lots and threw me the keys. We had to rent a car from Enterprise on site, which is a bit of a scam as they said they have discount rates. Seriously... We drove off the lot with the rental and less than 2 miles away they called and said it was fixed after telling us it might take a day or so. While it was nice to have it fixed, we still ended up having to pay a full day on a rental for less than 2 miles. When we got in the car it was filthy from workers, my wife had to use wet wipes to clean it off. Glad they were there but generally you always feel like you are imposition. Brown's tours you all the new cars while waiting, knows everyone by name, runs it through the wash, etc.

Great staff. Always helpful and friendly. Charges are transparent and reasonable. I will never go anywhere else for maintenance.

PARTS AND SERVICE DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE once transferred. I am temporarily disabled with difficulty walking post cardiac surgery. I had to make three trips to the dealer to order the part, schedule the service appointment and have them start work the towed vehicle , because once they transfer the phone from Sales, my call went to a voicemail that no one ever returned. I complained to a sales rep, who says he hears that a lot. I called another day looking to speak to the GM. The sales agent haltingly told me he wasn't in and hung up without offering voicemail. It's a shame that this is known, but they don't seem to care.

The whole experience was excellent- from check -in to check-out. It took less time than was estimated. Loved the video of the service engineer showing my Atlas & explaining the problem and how he resolved it.
